Lights flashed on my console. Something was wrong, none of the buttons I pressed responded nor did the dying propulsion system come back on-line. This meant I was about to die at the helm of my craft just outside of a planet's atmosphere that I knew nothing about. The clouds blurred around me. Through the foremost viewing screen I saw everything melt into itself as I descended. Lower and lower, losing altitude while I did the only thing I could. I gripped the seat beneath me and tried to pull the eject lever. At the last possible moment, I loosened myself from the singular port above my head and flew several feet upwards, escaping narrowly from becoming a part of the wrecked space craft.
My feet touched the foreign ground, its gravely and coarse surface was similar to the terrain found in the deserts of Arizona, bereft of moisture. Plentiful mostly in reddish and bluish sand, shards of rocks, pebbles, stones and the occasional scattering of an animal's bones. I continued along for a few miles.
There was a clearing on the apex of a hill which bore healthily watered grass, trees and even earthen breeds of birds which chirped with delight at their new visitor. I gazed at them in awe. Not because I hadn't seen birds before but I realized how far from home I was and to see a remnant of the home I'd known for a great many years, understandably I couldn't believe it. I chalked it up to a well thought hallucination until a young girl came right up to me, smiling slightly. She stood right in my path and held her hand out to me.
"Come. I will show you."
Her blond hair shimmered as did her lightly tanned skin, dressed in a pair of cotton shorts and a white blouse. Her feet were bare. I touched the fingers of one hand, curled mine around them and instantly was overcome with emotion. She loosened her grip and knelt to care for me.
"Mister? Are you injured?"
"Far from it, Miss."
"You are crying."
"I am sensitive to the emotions of others, if that makes sense. Some call it empathy. I know your sadness, deep down where you're afraid to let the pain escape from."
"Sometimes I cry too. When no one is awake, I sit there and tears are streaming. I don't understand why it happens so late in the night but it does. None of the others know that I'm so sad."
"Maybe they can't relate. But I can. I'm from a place called Earth."
"I haven't heard of...Earth. Will you tell me about it?"
"If you'd like."
"I would enjoy learning of that planet. I've always thought we were the only ones in the universe."
She walked to a spot beneath a tree, low hanging branches shielded our position for the most part.
"What is your name?"
"I am called Teagan."
"I'm Bryan. It is glad to meet your acquaintance Teagan."
She smiled and gazed into my eyes.
"Thank you, Bryan."
I took in the sight of her body. Though she was younger than I, Teagan was every bit a woman. It had been years since I experienced normal human conversation, let alone taken in a vision of perfection in female form. I told her my story, that I traveled in search of any survivors of the fallout. Earth went through a revolution of sorts, during which eighty percent of the human population was exterminated. Those who were able did manage to escape. I hoped that maybe somewhere existed a society of displaced individuals of reproductive age, interested in possibly breeding.
For the longest time I wished to start a family. To recover what I lost in battle, seeing my children and their mother slaughtered without a proper reason. And this teenage woman Teagan meant the possible realization of a dream.
I went on and detailed to her what happened to my wife and children. She looked very sad but listened, her lips were pouted in an attempt to stifle the sadness lingering behind her clear blue eyes.
"When I landed here, I honestly believed I would be stranded. This sector of space is uninhabited according to our research data, so I never expected to find anyone else."
"Oh. I'm sure it would delight you to know that there are more of us here. Most of them are older than I am, much older. They dwell beyond the crest of the far hill. Since we have always existed, alone and uninterrupted, I stay here in the fields most of the day. This is why I spotted you."
"When did you settle here?"
"Time works differently on this planet, but three generations were born since our arrival."
"Our revolution would have occurred during the second generation of your society."
"The youngest members of our group are some fifty five years in age and they are women. I am disgusted to be in their presence, their jealousy is unbearable."
"If I can somehow contact my home planet, maybe we will escape it together. They could be on their way to rescue me as we speak. I signaled for help before I crashed."
"I have never left this place in the entirety of my life. I would enjoy it with the breadth of my being."
She sighed and moved closer to me. The scent of her femininity roused my senses.
"Years upon years have gone by since the last time I enjoyed the company of a woman. You are too beautiful for words, Teagan. Everything about you reminds me of someone I used to know very well back home."
"Maybe you and I were meant to be. Is this destiny?"
I moved closer, she seemed to detect what it was I sought and followed my movements. My lips found hers, they were parted already. Before I opened mine her tongue reached for my own and wrapped itself around the circumference of it.
I was afraid to touch her. Could I blame my isolation for the reluctance I felt in her presence? She harbored no such reservations and ran her hand beneath my shirt. I trembled. My heart beat quickened, every breath filled my lungs briefly and departed almost instantly. I knew I was crying a little too.
Teagan kissed away the tears. Her mouth worked over mine slowly, again I anticipated her touch. The yearning behind each finger was held at bay by sheer will. She was crying too. I pushed her hair away from her face and tried to console her. No words were needed.
I wiped her cheek with my thumb. Her back arched and I pulled her to me. I kept her against my chest, patiently waiting for the sounds of her weeping to quiet down. She lifted her chin as the gentle mewling ceased and nibbled my bottom lip.
"Are you an angel, Bryan?"
"I wanted to ask you the same thing."
"It's just. I've never known what it's like to love."
"For the first time, you feel our bond in your heart?"
"Yes. Do you feel it too?"
"From the moment our hands touched."
As she spoke, a sun in the distance set as another rose to our left. I held her on my lap. Both arms kept Teagan's chest on mine, her legs were wrapped around my midsection and she rested her head on my shoulder slightly. We fell asleep in the glow of yet another morning, awash in the rawest emotions either of us had known.

She woke and stirred, immediately aware of my presence. I heard her inhale sharply. Her ass wiggled on my lap uncomfortably.
"I see I've awoken your friend."
"Indeed. He must think you're something special, like I do."
Teagan blushed and attempted to avert her eyes from mine.
"I mean it. You're a diamond in the rough. This place is one in a million, the likelihood of me finding it among the many planets in your solar system is very rare."
She stared into my eyes and kissed me softly on the mouth.
"Is life that uncommon?"
"Yes."
"Wow."
Her blond locks covered us partially. I breathed in, nestled my head on her chest and listened to her heart beat. It calmed me. She held me still in her arms and gingerly massaged a spot near the base of my neck. I unconsciously cradled her bottom in my hands. Teagan kissed me a bit harder, the way her tongue swirled around mine I knew she needed me as bad as I needed her.
I wanted to suffer with my urges. The blond in my lap didn't flinch but her scent sweetened. She pawed at the front of my pants and fumbled with the zipper. I showed her how it worked, guided her hand down its teeth and let her find where my manhood dwelt. Teagan gasped in my ear as I was exposed to the open air.
She knelt in front of me and sat upright. I slipped my thumbs into the waistband of her shorts, pulled them down her thighs and gazed at her mound.
I helped her out of the rest of her clothes. She did the same for me. We were as nature intended us.
"Be gentle."
"Are you?"
"Yes. I didn't let them in me."
Teagan lifted her knees up to my chest and parted them enough to welcome me close. I knelt straddling her hips, leaned over her and rested the head of my cock above her mound. She reached down between us. I kissed her lips, felt the softness of her fingers and knew nothing comparable to the heat and tightness of her most intimate passageway.
She whimpered as I slid gradually deeper. My hips withdrew the tip and inserted a little more of my length once she was accustomed to me. Teagan held me inside, her legs trapped my body against hers and we kissed passionately.
I resumed a slower rhythm. It was my futile attempt of forestalling the inevitable. Her skin radiated underneath a midday sun, orangy and impossibly luminous. The aqua marine of her jewel-eyes sparkled. I forgot everything around us two, for the moment it was solely our planet. With which we could do as we saw fit.
Teagan writhed as I moved quicker. My shaft eased entirely inside, taking full advantage of its new home while it lasted. She moaned frantically. I apologized or at least intended to when I came in an abundant torrent of warmth. Her walls tightened, clenched repeatedly during each twitch of my shaft within her. From the depths of her core I was drowned in her juices. She couldn't stop herself and whimpered as I coaxed out the creaminess I had yearned for, thrusted in the first couple inches of her tunnel where I knew her sensitivity was heightened.
"Stay still, Bryan."
Her legs reeled me in and I finally rested.
A sedated whir hummed above our heads. Teagan glanced toward the sky and held onto me tighter. We were beamed aboard with our clothes, appeared again inside of a room and a voice started to speak politely through what I believed was a P.A. system.
"This is Captain Edgar Lisbow. We received your distress call, Bryan and responded as soon as we could."
I stayed inside of Teagan and replied,
"I'm glad it worked. Otherwise I would be stranded there on that planet."
"We are en route to our new home planet DH-137, aptly titled 'Syracuse'. It is where the remaining population of our planet relocated since your departure."
The intercom signed off with a dull ringing sound.
Our room looked normal by my standards. There was a bed, covered in sheets and a spread. A window which looked into space. A television of some sort sat on the opposite wall. A food replicator was embedded on a wall beside the door. The floors were carpeted and the ceilings retained their whitish metallic appearance. I guessed that is where our company saved money. No one ever sees the ceilings, so why shell out additional funding to decorate them?
We fell asleep again during the journey. When I woke, our ship had landed and I saw the first signs of life outside through our window. Teagan felt me harden inside of her. She kept me close and kissed me with her eyes shut. I found it cute.
"Shall we get dressed?"
"I think so. Your home interests me, Bryan."
She smiled and turned away from me momentarily to put her clothes on. I used the replicator before we left.
"Flowers? No one has ever given me those."
Her smile widened and I saw a twinkle in her eyes.
"You deserve much more, Teagan. And I plan to give it all to you."
We found our way out. The Captain was waiting for us with the rest of our crew.
"Did you take the memory chip out of your craft?"
"I did. Here it is."
I handed him the card which carried within itself a diagnostic log of the ship's inner workings. He inserted it into a reader on his wrist and stood there silently, reviewing the various charts.
"You have done us proud, Bryan. Go on. There are living quarters near the coast. Choose the house you want and we'll furnish it at the press of a button."
I walked down the beach with Teagan, hand and hand, beneath a humid summer sun.
"That one. I'm sure of it, Bryan."
"I like your tastes."
She rested her head on me as we entered. I tapped a button on the wall and furniture suiting our preferences adorned the house within seconds.
I hugged Teagan and sat in the living room on a couch beside her.
We adjusted into a routine, our version of normalcy.
Or what constituted it on 'Syracuse'.
